A rough history
Before my RG became the Delta, it went through a lot of tweaking and tuning. This is kind of what happened along the way...
I was chatting with Charles R a while back (the previous owner of my bike) and for his benefit, I put together a very brief document outlining the evolution of my RG500. So, here it is.
I had always dreamed of having a TZ750. Since I figured that was not going to happen, I eventually built a 500 with the same performance, at 3x the price. So THAT was not one of my smarter moves.
On the other hand, most of my best friends have come across my path as I've tinkered with this bike over the years; it's most remarkable. Life would have been different if I'd fallen in love with the RE-5, that's for sure!
